Designed for discerning listeners, Jazz Abe Radio delivers a warm, consistent, and refined listening experience—music that brings comfort, elegance, and effortless style to every moment.

Our signature playlist, “The Best of Jazz Abe,” reflects the heart and identity of our station. It is more than just a collection of songs—it is a dedication. A tribute to all radio broadcasters, music directors, and radio operators whose passion, creativity, and hard work have shaped the world of radio.

Those very people have also shaped Jazz Abe Radio itself, with their influence from 2017 until now. Their inspiration and standards have guided us in building a station that values quality, consistency, and connection.

The journey of Jazz Abe Radio began with a simple foundation—the owner initially understood playlists more than the deeper structure of music programming. From the years, his understanding of radio broadcasting are growing and evolving, transforming into a deeper appreciation of music curation, audience connection, and the art of creating a meaningful listening experience.

The owner enhanced his knowledge through a short course at MRA Broadcasting Academy, where he learned from well-known and respected radio announcers. He also gained real-world experience at Good Radio Jakarta as an Assistant Music Director, developing a deeper understanding of curation, audience behavior, and broadcast quality.

Along the journey, he had the opportunity to visit and observe some of Indonesia’s well-known stations, including Hard Rock FM, Trax FM, I-Radio, and Cosmopolitan FM.

His earliest and most meaningful inspiration began in 2007  are Brava Radio—his first favorite station. From that moment, the idea was born: to create a radio station inspired by the elegance and feel of Brava Radio, but with a unique identity and different musical selection,His earliest and most meaningful inspiration began in 2007 with Brava Radio, which was his first favorite station, and other radios are the next inspirations—such as Good Radio Jakarta, CD101.9 Smooth Jazz, Smooth Jazz 105.9, Smooth Jazz 95.9, and Smooth Radio UK.

    Official Statement to Listeners & the Online Radio Community

    Saya menegaskan kembali bahwa saat ini saya masih memiliki keterkaitan dengan ClassyNet Radio. Biarlah setiap “frekuensi” berjalan pada jalurnya masing-masing dengan tetap menjunjung profesionalisme.

    Namun demikian, saya memohon agar profesionalisme tetap dijaga, khususnya dalam pengelolaan konten lagu, playlist, serta interaksi dengan pendengar. Aktivitas bot—termasuk yang menggunakan nama “Malik Zidane”—yang mengajak pendengar untuk berpindah serta merendahkan kualitas Jazz Abe Radio merupakan tindakan yang tidak etis dan mencederai martabat dunia penyiaran.

    Selain itu, kami juga memohon agar pengelolaan pendengar, termasuk “bot pendengar”, dapat lebih diperhatikan. Komentar yang merendahkan, seperti menyinggung kualitas equipment maupun hasil rekaman dengan cara yang tidak pantas, sangat tidak mencerminkan etika dan merugikan pihak lain. Terlebih jika dilakukan secara berulang oleh akun tertentu, hal tersebut berpotensi menciptakan suasana yang tidak sehat.

    Perlu ditegaskan bahwa Jazz Abe Radio hanya menjunjung tinggi interaksi yang bijak, beretika, dan saling menghormati. Pendengar yang memberikan komentar tanpa etika dan tanpa sikap yang baik tidak mencerminkan nilai yang kami pegang.

    Kami juga mengingatkan bahwa seluruh playlist Jazz Abe Radio dikurasi secara manual dengan standar kualitas audio tinggi (256–320 kbps). Pernyataan yang merendahkan kualitas tersebut adalah tidak benar dan berpotensi mencemarkan nama baik.

    Apabila terdapat pengambilan referensi atau lagu dari playlist pihak lain, mohon dilakukan secara bijak dan menyeluruh. Jangan hanya memilih lagu-lagu tertentu tanpa memahami konteks kurasi. Penggunaan materi tanpa penghargaan yang layak serta sikap yang merendahkan dapat dipandang sebagai tindakan yang tidak etis.

    Sebagaimana disampaikan oleh pemilik Jazz Abe Radio:
    “Uang dapat digunakan untuk membeli peralatan mahal dan bahkan untuk menempuh jalur hukum. Namun hati, pikiran, dan etika tidak dapat dibeli. Money can buy equipment and listeners, but not love, heart, mind, and ethics.”

    Saya juga ingin menambahkan bahwa sebelumnya saya telah berusaha menghubungi dengan etika sebaik mungkin. Namun sangat disayangkan, respons yang diterima justru terkesan arogan.

    Terkait jumlah pendengar, terdapat indikasi yang menimbulkan pertanyaan mengenai keaslian interaksi yang terjadi. Apabila benar terdapat penggunaan “bot pendengar” secara tidak transparan, hal tersebut tentu tidak mencerminkan kejujuran dan integritas dalam dunia penyiaran.

    Selain itu, sikap merendahkan radio lain—termasuk yang menggunakan server gratis seperti Listen2MyRadio maupun Zeno—juga tidak mencerminkan etika profesional. Perlu dipahami bahwa penggunaan server, baik berbayar maupun gratis, adalah pilihan teknis dan strategis. Bahkan tidak sedikit radio besar yang tetap memanfaatkan platform seperti Zeno untuk efisiensi dan stabilitas operasional.

    Berdasarkan pengalaman saya, penggunaan server berbayar tidak selalu menjamin kestabilan. Gangguan teknis tetap dapat terjadi, bahkan memerlukan penanganan khusus. Sebaliknya, server gratis dalam kondisi tertentu dapat berjalan stabil apabila dikelola dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, kualitas sebuah radio tidak dapat diukur semata dari jenis server yang digunakan.

    Saya juga mencatat adanya gangguan siaran yang cukup sering terjadi pada pihak terkait, sementara Jazz Abe Radio tetap berjalan dengan stabil. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa konsistensi operasional dan manajemen yang baik memiliki peran yang lebih penting dibanding sekadar penggunaan infrastruktur berbayar.

    Sebagai pengingat, sebagaimana dikatakan oleh Ali bin Abi Thalib:
    “Kejujuran adalah tonggak dan dasar utama dalam berakhlak serta beragama.”

    Kami berharap semua pihak dapat menjaga sikap profesional, menjunjung tinggi kejujuran, serta mengedepankan etika dalam berinteraksi dan berkarya.
